About Viewcryptos
Viewcryptos is independent research on the blockchains that actually move value — Stellar, the XRP Ledger, and Cosmos — written for people who want to understand them, not just speculate on them.
Why this exists
Most crypto coverage falls into one of two buckets: breathless hype, or noise. Prices, predictions, and tribal cheerleading drown out the thing that actually matters — how these networks work, what they’re genuinely good at, and where their real weaknesses lie.
Viewcryptos is the opposite of that. It’s built around a simple belief: a small number of blockchains are quietly becoming the infrastructure for payments, tokenized assets, and interoperability, and they reward careful, honest study. So instead of chasing every coin, this site goes deep on three ecosystems and tries to explain them clearly enough that you come away genuinely understanding them.
Who writes Viewcryptos
I’ve been following crypto since 2017. I started Viewcryptos because I am passionate about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. I am a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience.
How I work
A few principles run through everything here:
- No price predictions, no hype. You won’t find price targets or “next 100x” calls. Those age badly and they’re not the point.
- Honest trade-offs, always. Every network has real weaknesses. The explainers name them — validator centralization, value-capture problems, regulatory and security risks — because coverage that only lists strengths isn’t analysis, it’s marketing.
- Sourced and dated. Fast-moving facts are tied to a date and a source, so you can check them and so they don’t quietly go stale.
- Plain language. Consensus protocols, tokenization, and interoperability are explained to be understood, not to sound clever.
What you’ll find
Two things, working together. The explainers on this site are evergreen references — how Stellar’s consensus works, what IBC is, how tokenization and stablecoins actually function. They’re built to be the clearest version of each topic you can find.
The ongoing analysis — new developments, what they mean, and where things seem to be heading — lives on the Viewcryptos Substack. If the explainers here are the map, the Substack is the running commentary on the journey. The best way to follow the work is to subscribe.
